Abandoned and overstaying containers have impeded the conduct of cargo handling operations at the Port of Masao. Thus, the Philippine Ports Authority has mandated the owners, consignees, shippers and/or exporters/importers of such items to claim their containers before February 24, 2023 upon payment of storage and other port charges. Failure to act within the said date shall be construed as a waiver and shall compel the management to dispose of the containers through public auction.
